Is there a way to group or split the results in all.phtml alphabetically.

hi all,
weird problem.
I installed dc_catalog extension on one of the web

http://www.perfexions.com/

after installation

http://www.perfexions.com/manufacturer/
is showing brands but two times

and if I click any of the brand none of the product is shown..

please help..

Hello! I install dc_catalog and all magento admin panel lost except first row (magento logo and login name) . After I uninstall dc_catalog , admin panel is ok . I have magento 1.4.1.1 . Any suggestions?

Only by changing core file, which I am not intending to do, sorry. Maybe Varien will make an update to the sitemaps classes to allow easier extending.

i have done like this still cant see brand image in it its going in if condtion in list.html but not showing brand detail and want to see brand logo with that product please help me

Go to admin->attributes->manufacturer/brands/your attribute and set Used in Product Listing to YES

Added the block type=”dc_catalog/product_attributes” …………. from layout/dc_catalog.xml (in the catalog_product_view node) to your theme’s layout/catalog.xml in the node catalog_category_layered after block type=”catalog/product_list” name=”product_list” template=”catalog/product/list.phtml”
Then, in your list.phtml file just added in product/list.pthml
if($_product->getData(‘brand’) > 0) {
echo $this->getChildHtml(‘attributes.brand’);
}

Great extension. Thanks so much. I am just having a problem getting the manufacterers logo to appear on the product page. I have edited the view.phtml file as required but am I supposed to do anything else? Any help would be much appreciated.

Displaying it like you said, in the grid/list gives an error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function getAttributes() on a non-object in [..]\app\code\community\DC\Catalog\Block\Product\Attributes.php on line 36

The product is not properly available to DC_Catalog_Block_Product_Attributes because the registry returns nothing!

I made a fix for this (involving multiple files)..
I would like to make it available to Adi so that he can implement something similar in his next release.

So please mail me Adi, than i will mail you the files.
